Opening Prayer
In Attendance: Judy Wilhelm, Doreen Owens, Susan Loso, Judy Collum, Trace Trylko, Mary Walker, Nancy Barbanera, Kevin McGuire, Dominick Casella, Jeanette Guzman, Cathy Skoff, Ann Shea

Minutes from January 20, 2013 Meeting approved as posted.

Judy had a good meeting with Father Voor. He will be visiting at one of our meetings in March. He approved our selling Mother’s Day flowers in May, and he discussed the improvements of the White House and will get Mary Valente to get estimates.
Souper Supper is almost upon us, February 16, and we finalized the plans.Friday night, Feb. 15, is set up at the White House at 6:45pm. Bring your food at 5pm, doors open at 5:30pm and dinner begins at 6:00 pm. Bring food for at least 20 people.

SACSON- The next Idignity Event is set for March 07, 2013 at the Salvation Army, located at 700 W 24th St, Sanford. Go to IdignityOrlando to sign up for the Sanford event.

Young Vincentians: Susan Loso brought a wonderful video, composed by John and herself, documenting the Young Vincentians of All Souls and it will be sent to Corporate. It will also be shown at Souper Supper.

Scholarship Committee:Cathy Skoff, Kevin and Dominick reported that the committee has met and it was discussed how many scholarships and the value of each. To be discussed further.

SVDP Executive Director Report- Trace reported on upcoming events and the success of our new thrift store. He said there is an opening for a truck driver at the Apopka store.

Wash Day- Next event is February 13, 2013. Mary and Cathy will work it.

Pantry- Pantry is doing well and we need donations of peanut butter and jelly presently.
Voice of the Poor: Trace invited members to Catholic Days at the Legislature in Tallahassee in March.

Alive after 5 is February 14 and the flyers are ready to go.

SVDP Drop Box will be on location at the new Church by the end of the month. The Parish has been notified.

Next meeting will be February 18 and Doreen will be presiding in Judy’s absence. We will have a guest speaker, Sara Purcell from Community Assistance.

We received a letter from Catholic Charities requesting items to be donated to Refugee Resettlement Program.

Kevin made a motion for Anne Merrill to be a new board member. Dominick seconded the motion. Welcome Anne!
